Iconic, But Not (Quite) Supersonic Learjet 35A
A versatile aircraft, the Lear 35A is a capable light fanjet that delivers speed and performance. An icon recognized throughout the world, this business jet is the cost-effective choice of the discerning traveler.
Features and Performance
Among the Lear 35’s outstanding performance features is its range, takeoff capability and cruise envelope. This model Learjet is capable of flying for up to 5 hours allowing non-stop flights from Van Nuys to destinations such as Chicago and Atlanta. The Lear 35 cruises comfortably at 80% of the speed of sound at altitudes up to 45,000 feet.
Our Lear 35A offers jet charter passengers a newly refurbished interior, a CD/DVD/Airshow entertainment system, and a well-stocked snack and beverage galley. With its Raisbeck fuselage luggage locker, our Lear 35 has an additional 51 cubic feet of baggage space - perfect for bags, skis and irritating in-laws.
The two Honeywell TFE731-2-2B (say that ten times fast) series engines produce 3,500 pounds of thrust to push the Lear 35 quickly above weather. At the same time, the Lear 35’s engines are quiet enough to operate into the most noise sensitive airports.
Produced from 1970 into the 1990’s, the Lear 35 is one of the most popular private jets of all time.
