Mark Schmaltz co-founded Spirit Aviation in 1983 which became one of the largest and most successful private jet companies on the West Coast. His expertise in aircraft management, maintenance management, mechanical systems and charter services has made him one of the most respected leaders in business aviation.

Mark holds a degree in Aeronautical Operations from San Jose State University.

Mark is a commercially rated pilot with over 8,000 flight hours.

Michael Binder founded Altitude Aviation in 1998 and, through his leadership, has grown the company into one of the country's premiere boutique broker agencies for charter jet aviation, catering largely to clients in the entertainment and corporate sectors.

He brings his deep network of contacts to Dreamline, along with his hands-on entrepreneurial style and management expertise.

Michael lives in Hermosa Beach, California.

Also a co-founder of Spirit Aviation, Kurt oversaw flight operations and client services. He pioneered a number of innovations in crew training and management that have been adopted by a number of private jet companies.

Kurt is a veteran pilot with a major airline and holds a degree in history from UCLA. Kurt has flown over 25,000 flight hours.

Joining Spirit Aviation in 1997 where she served as Vice President of Aircraft Asset Management. Jana Erland helped to develop comprehensive administrative and information management systems, enabling Spirit to manage a fleet of over twenty-five jets.

Jana actively serves in several community associations within the San Fernando Valley.

Todd Kunkler was the co-founder of OnTrack Management Systems and is the holder of 10 US patents for banking technology. He joined Spirit Aviation in 1999 as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Todd holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. His graduate work in Cultural Anthropology was conducted at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Artak Abelyan began flying career in Armenia at the age of 16. He has over 6,500 hours of professional flight hours flying military aircraft as well as a wide range of business jets.

Artak joined Spirit Aviation in 2005 as a captain in several Learjet models, Westwind jets and King Air Turboprops. In 2010, Mr. Abelyan rejoining the former management team of the Spirit Aviation to launch Dreamline Aviation.

Artak earned a liberal arts degree from Valley Community College.

A twenty-year veteran of charter flying throughout California and the West, Bennett Taber manages flight operations and charter sales in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ben is a check airman and training captain with over ten thousand hours in his logbook, and delivers an extraordinary level of customer service which many of the Bay Area's finest families have enjoyed for over a decade.

Jonathon joined Spirit Aviation in 2006 where he served as Manager of Customer Service. As Dreamline Aviation's Flight Sales Director, Jonathon provides comprehensive travel management for our clients.

Mr. Schmaltz resides in the San Fernando valley with his wife and baby daughter, He is active in his church and in various community services.

Sara served as Manager of Marketing for Atlantic Aviation in Santa Monica and recently for Altitude Aviation before joining Dreamline Aviation in 2010 as a Flight Sales Director.

Ms Levine is active in several community services including vocational training for women in crisis. She is an avid traveler and a travel writer. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Artak Abelyan began flying career in Armenia at the age of 16. He has over 6,500 hours of professional flight hours flying military aircraft as well as a wide range of business jets.

Brett began flying in 2003.  He holds an ATP certificate and is a flight instructor. Brett has flown Chieftains, Beech 99s, CRJs, Westwind Jets and KingAir turboprops for both charter and airline companies.

Brett received his Bachelor of Finance degree from University of Illinois.  Besides flying, his interests are his family - including wife Kari and his son, Landon - as well as a wide range of outdoor sports.  He is also an active investor in real estate and stocks.

Trevor graduated California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration:Finance, Real Estate and Law in 2003. Immediately after graduating, Trevor began Flight School in which he received his Private, Instrument, Commercial, and Flight Instructor ratings. Since the completion of Flight School, he has spent several years flying as a Certified Flight Instructor, Air Ambulance Pilot, and Charter Pilot.

Trevor has an ATP rating with over 4,500 hours of total flight time and is type rated in the Learjet 31/35 and Boeing 737. Besides flying, he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and camping.

Bennett has over 10,000 hours of air charter throughout California and the western United States.  His first 500 hours of flying were conducted in Alaska.  Mr. Taber holds an ATP rating and is a Dreamline Training Captain in Beech King Air aircraft.

Bennet received his Bachelor's degree from Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut.  He is also a veteran of the US Coast Guard.

When not flying, Mr. Taber volunteers as part of the effort to restore the WWII aircraft carrier USS Hornet.

Prior to joining Dreamline in 2010, Brandon flew for Spirit Aviation as a Captain in several King Air turboprops. Brandon is an Airline Transport Pilot with over 3,000 flight hours. He is also a certified A&P aircraft mechanic.

Brandon is a graduate of Westwood College of Aviation Technology. He currently resides in Venice CA.
